Laura attended University in Manchester, graduating with a First Class degree in Business Economics. Following her time there, she moved back to her home town of Wooler and joined a local accountancy practice as an accounts clerk. In 2014 she qualified as a Chartered Accountant and once qualified joined Rennie Welch in 2015 in Kelso.
Throughout her professional career, Laura has established a wide range of experience and knowledge within a number of client sectors including agriculture, construction, leisure industries and owner managed businesses.
Laura grew up on a small family farm and family-run caravan park, giving her a personal understanding of the day to day practicalities of building a successful local business in the tourism sector.
