Clark was born and brought up in the Scottish Borders. He studied Accountancy and Finance at the University of Aberdeen.
After graduating Clark worked for an independent accountancy firm in Edinburgh before moving to a local firm in the Scottish Borders. During this time he studied towards a professional accountancy qualification and in February 2015 became a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Clark made his move into industry in June 2016 and gained experience in this field working for two manufacturing businesses based in the Scottish Borders.
In February 2023 Clark joined another Scottish Borders based accountancy practice and spent three years providing accountancy and tax services to a varied client base.
Having joined Rennie Welch in February 2026 Clark is looking forward to working with both existing and new clients providing a high quality service and building strong relationships.
