Blair Henderson ACCA

Blair was educated at Earlston High School, and after a short full-time sporting career and a brief period in local government finance, Blair joined the Rennie Welch accounts department in 2016 as a trainee. Since then, he has developed in the role while studying for his professional examinations. In 2022, he passed his final professional examination to become an ACCA Qualified Accountant (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). During all this time, he has also managed to continue his successful part-time professional football career.

During his training career he has had a wide-ranging portfolio of owner managed business cases to deal with and manage. Blair is now a Team Leader within the Accounts Team and while he is dealing with all levels of accounts, he is supporting the partners and in doing so, is getting involved mainly with their larger cases, whether they be Sole Traders, Partnerships or Limited Companies. He has a particular interest in farm accounts and also helps to train and develop the newer members of staff.
